Is therapy right for you?

DOES THIS SOUND FAMILAR?
✓ You feel overwhelmed by constant mental noise and ready for something to shift.
✓ You’ve tried to navigate things on your own, but real change still feels out of reach.
✓ You’re looking for a therapist who truly listens, understands, and challenges you in a way that feels collaborative and transformative.

DURING THERAPY:
You may start therapy with a specific goal in mind—managing anxiety, improving relationships, or navigating career stress—but as you move forward, you begin to recognize that therapy is more than just problem-solving. It’s not another task on your to-do list; it’s a space for deep emotional processing, meaningful connection, and uncovering the patterns that have been keeping you stuck. Through this work, you build greater self-awareness and create a more grounded, authentic way of living.

AFTER WORKING TOGETHER:
You feel stronger, more self-assured, and more grounded in yourself. Your relationships improve as you communicate with greater clarity and intention. Healing is an ongoing process, and with the tools you’ve gained, you’re equipped to face life’s inevitable challenges with confidence, responding to adversity with greater strength and self-trust.

Your healing begins here.

Why self-pay?

Operating outside the insurance model allows us to provide truly personalized, flexible therapy. Insurance companies often require access to your records, a formal mental health diagnosis, and can limit the number or type of sessions they will approve. The self-pay model affords you greater privacy and more control over your treatment, without the limitations of insurance. If you have out-of-network (OON) benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement, and we can provide the paperwork needed to submit to your insurance company.

While we primarily work with self-pay clients, we have a limited number of insurance slots available. If cost is a concern, ask us about our sliding scale—we’re happy to chat!

KIND WORDS FROM MHM CLIENTS

KIND WORDS FROM MHM CLIENTS •

  • “I've had the best experience working with Stefania. I feel like a completely different person than I was 2 years ago. I've built such a strong sense of self and have developed a confidence I never thought I would have. I'm so beyond grateful. It challenged my world view and gave me tools to interrogate my thoughts with kindness. So I could work on things I was struggling with but do so with love and care. I just feel like I have this incredible toolkit now to work on myself and work through any challenges life could throw my way.”

  • “Emily is an absolute treasure. She is so thoughtful, patient, kind, and considerate. I look forward to my sessions each week and she has helped me become a better version of me."

  • “I am tremendously grateful for my sessions with Stefania - truly don’t know where I would be without her! I’ve met with various practitioners throughout my adult life; I’ve never benefited from therapy in the way I have with Stefania. I am so grateful to have her in my life.”

  • “Emily has been the best therapist I have ever had. I appreciate her skills of active listening, empathy, and validation. She has truly helped me grow into the person I have become; I am much better at communication and my self-confidence and trust has grown greatly.”
